Dianna Di Paola - Director & 4YO Co-Educator
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Dianna has worked at Deep Creek Preschool since 2013 as a Co-Educator and in administration.
Prior to joining the teaching team, her two sons attended the Preschool where she was also part of the Executive Committee of Management. She served as Secretary for one year and then President for three years.
Dianna enjoyed four great years at Deep Creek Preschool as a parent and made some wonderful and lifelong friends.
“It is a significant privilege to still be a part of this fantastic Preschool as a staff member”.
Her career background is in early childhood care where she has been both a Room Team Leader and a Centre Director for over a decade.
Dianna constantly finds ways to incorporate new ideas and concepts into the program and service that will benefit our Deep Creek community.
Dianna enjoys collaborating with families and especially our Committee of Management. She is passionate about making Deep Creek Preschool a welcoming environment for all families and watching the children develop new skills and ideas by building on their curiosity and interests.

Bronwyn Reed - 4YO Early Childhood Teacher
Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies
Bronwyn has been Early Childhood profession for over 20 years and has worked with all age groups (0-6 years) as well as undertaken various managerial roles. She commenced here at Deep Creek Preschool as the 4-year-old Educator in 2018.
Teaching has always been Bronwyn’s passion. She excels at providing a curriculum where children enjoy learning through play in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Bronwyn places importance on building strong partnerships with children and their families, and encourages children to develop life skills such as confidence, resilience, independence, determination and kindness through play.
Bronwyn is dedicated to continual learning herself and has has completed several training sessions including Respectful Relationships; Inclusion, Diversity and Equity; Planning and Documentation; Mandatory Reporting and School Readiness.
“What I love about Deep Creek Preschool is working alongside such wonderful, enthusiastic and dedicated colleagues, being involved in a Committee of Management who are supportive and are always open to new ideas, working in partnership with families and most importantly, nurturing and teaching children.”.
When Bron isn’t working, she loves spending quality time with her family, camping, reading and socialising with friends.

Trudy Kelly - 4YO Co-Educator
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Trudy has been a Co-Educator (4-year-old program) at Deep Creek Preschool since 2019.
“I feel privileged to be part of such a wonderful team at this strong community-based Preschool”.
Trudy is a Diploma Qualified Childhood Educator with training as an ISS inclusion support worker for children with additional needs. During her career in child case, she has worked across all age groups from babies through to kinder age children. She has a passion to highlight the environment and sustainability through teaching the children.
As someone who is interested in life-long learning, Trudy invests in her professional development throughout each year. This is conducted through training webinars, on site seminars and various online courses, all designed to enhance professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
“I believe in complete engagement with children, their families and the team at the preschool. I understand the best outcomes for the children start with good quality programs and an engaging learning environment”.
In her spare time, she loves gardening, shopping at the markets and travelling back to her home in Goulburn Valley, Victoria.

Lisa Henson - 4YO Co-Educator
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Lisa has been a Co-educator with Deep Creek Preschool since 2023.
She has experience working with all age groups from babies through to kinder aged children.
‘“I absolutely love helping to watch and support children grow and develop in safe, interesting, fun and engaging environments”.
Lisa is very passionate about incorporating physical activity and sport into the children’s daily and weekly routines, as physical activity is not only great for the children’s physical health and development, but also has psychological and social benefits.
Lisa’s strength lies in incorporating new ideas and activities that will nurture each child according to their needs. She places great importance on building strong and collaborative relationships with the children, their families and her colleagues.
When she isn’t working, she like to travel, read and spend time with family and friends.

Sonia Cheng - 3YO Early Childhood Teacher
Graduate Diploma in Education – Early Childhood
Sonia joined the Deep Creek Preschool team as the 3-year-old Educator in 2019.
Before she moved to Australia, Sonia worked as a Secondary School Teacher in China for five years. She migrated to Australia as an overseas student to further her teaching career, however during this time, she realised that her passion was working with younger children and she made a switch to Early Childhood teaching.
“In my teaching practice, I am passionate about establishing a welcoming, respectful, inclusive and supportive environment, where all the children feel secure, comfortable and accepted as they actively make sense of the world through play-based learning. I enjoy getting to know each child as a unique individual and I have a natural passion for encouraging and helping them to reach their full potential”.
Outside of work, Sonia enjoys spending time with my family, travelling, reading, learning to cook new dishes and building LEGO creations with her son.

Maggie Wang - 3YO Co-Educator
Maggie joined the team at Deep Creek Preschool as a Co-Educator for the 3 year old group in 2024.
“I feel privileged to work within such a supportive, community-centred preschool”.
She holds a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from RMIT University and also has a background in graphic design. One of Maggie’s strengths is using her creative skills to make engaging, visually stimulating spaces for children to explore and express themselves.
Maggie enjoys supporting children’s development in warm, creative settings and is an addvocate for play-based learning.
“I believe in fostering a welcoming environment where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to learn. I enjoy collaborating with the talented team here to make each day positive and enriching for the children here”.
When Maggie isn’t working she enjoys going for walks in nature, eating with friends and reading.
